Led Zeppelin

So what do I do, register for the the gig and shell out £125 for a ticket? I love the Zep, one of the first bands I ever got mesmerised by as a youngster and even now at the grand old age of 31, listening to Custard Pie makes me want to rock. Ok, probably not the best of Zeppelin track but who cares, it's my blog so I'll write what I want.
Actually, thinking about it the £125 ticket price is justified seeing as they have reformed for the Ahmet Ertegun(founder of Atlantic Records, for those of you who don't know) tribute concert and the money is going to the education fund.
Sod it, I'm going to register.

So tired

It's Friday, end of the working week and I am so tired. This could due to the nightmare I had last night. It was disturbing - I was being strangled, it felt so real, I felt like I couldn't breath and my neck was being crushed. I remember trying to wake myself up but I couldn't, it was only Pete waking me that got rid of the nightmare.
Maybe I have had too much cheese

Up In Smoke

Why did I give up ciggies???? It's times like these I wish I could still light up but hey I can get through this shite of a day.

I think I shall make some happy cookies, always gaurenteed to put a smile on your face!!!

I hate rudeness

Why do I let people get under my skin?? Why, oh why???
I'm getting to point where I could be violent and believe me I do not like violence.
I think that my problem is that I live by the rule of "treat others how you want to be treated" on a whole I am a pleasant happy little bunny but i spend so much time with people whom walk all over others, make them work so hard and walk all over them. Why can't people be nice and show a little respect (as Erasure would say) I would be so much happier.

Pennies

I am so poor at the moment that it unbelievable. I know this sounds like a pity me blog but honestly life without money is a pain. I've never been motivated by money but when bills & debts need to be paid and food needs to be purchased and there are no funds life tends to be like a permanent funeral.
I'm lucky that I have the bear and that we going through this together, his support and those hugs have helped me keep my sanity.

I'M BACK!!!

I have returned to my blog which I have neglected since October. I would love to say that I have upto wonderful exciting stuff but sadly not. Things have been good and bad and most of the time I have been feeling like my head is going to melt with all the crap thats going on in there but thanks to The Bear who continues to surprise with his undying patience and love, thanks Bear without you these past fews months I think I would be on some form of medication.
Anyway, I am gonna post again with my rants about life and society in general, just don't know when!
Oh, we saw The Who in June or as The Bear has termed them "Pete & Roge" and they were GREAT, no exaggeration there people, it was just both amazing and emotional seeing a band I've loved for years and to top off a great gig I spewed on the way home, proper bright blue sick - thought I'd share that with you.

I'm so excited!!!!

One more night and then we are off to see The League of Gentleman live and I'm so excited I could burst! I really don't know what to expect and so far have not read any reviews, I'm glad really as I didn't want to go there tomorrow and know what to expect. I like surprises and I'm sure tomorrow night will be full of them.
Oh, I still haven't heard the new Kate Bush song and if I hear one more person tell me that "it's not that bad actually" I might just hurl, only because I'd rather hear from people who do actually like Kate Bush and appreciate her work because I feel, oh I don't know how I feel, but I generally don't like opinions which consist of "it's not that bad actually".

My Man is a Sweet Man, My man is a fine man

... as Millie Jackson sang back in the'60s and he certainly is. I came home from a shitty day at work to find that he had recorded the new Kate Bush song 'King of the Mountain' onto his mobile phone. He is brilliant like that, the recording wasn't great but the fact that he did that for me was wonderful, he's not even a Kate Bush fan but due to my nagging he is learning to open his ears to her, I've started him on the "The Red Shoes" not sure if it's a good idea to start with that album but we'll see. All I wanted to say was that it's the little things that give you the greatest smiles.
